- Each MyPlate place mat features the USDA official MyPlate image, and an accurate plate size so individuals can fill their plate with the right portions using healthy foods from all five food groups. This set includes 5 MyPlate place mats.
- The MyPlate place mat provides a great visual to show students, educators, nutritionists, and others the proportionate amount of each food group for meal planning. Included with this set is 142 food images to cut and use with nutrition data.
- Use the food clings to demonstrate appropriate intake by arranging the clings to illustrate meals. Foods stick to the place mats, but can be repositioned and used over and over again. There are some foods in the sets that have no place on MyPlate, so participants learn that these foods should not be routinely included in their diets.
- Six sheets are included with food images to cut out and use (18 in. x 12-1/2 in.). Dip clings in a bowl of warm water with a drop of dishwashing detergent to clean and restore clinging ability.
